Schedule 1 is still incredibly popular, and with new players still coming into it, there’s a constant demand for quality of life improvements. Some members of the community have taken it upon themselves to improve the gameplay loop while the developer takes his time cooking up new content and fixes.
In this post, I’ll go through various mods that you can try out to heavily improve your overall experience by making certain mechanics a little less annoying to deal with. Make sure to check out my guide on how to install mods for Schedule 1 first if you don’t already know how to do so.
Some of the best mods right now are the following:
- Bank App
- Warehouse Always Open
- Enhanced Dealers
- Easy Pickpocket
- Better Stacks
- AutoLaundryPlus
Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what each of these can do for you:
Mod #1. Bank App
Once you start raking in a lot of cash, running around and looking for an ATM every time you need to do a big purchase or order a lot of ingredients can get incredibly annoying. With the Bank App mod, you can now whip out your phone and just withdraw/deposit money from anywhere in the map.
This will save you a lot of time in the long run, and you’ll benefit from it no matter how far (or early) you are in the game. The only reason you’ll want to run to an ATM now is if you plan on stealing from it! 😈
Mod #2. Warehouse Always Open
For the sake of immersion (probably), the warehouse where you can hire employees, buy weapons, and stock up on cooking supplies/stations only opens from 6 PM onwards. With the Warehouse Always Open mod, you can completely get rid of this restriction with no strings attached.
You no longer need to wait for god knows how long every time you start a new day and need to restock or hire some help early on. If you’re trying a fast start run, this will be insanely helpful once you get the sweatshop.
Mod #3. Enhanced Dealers
Tired of having to run around and search for your dealers? Wanna lower their cut for the sake of immersion or just to maximize your profits? The Enhanced Dealers mod can help with all of that.
It adds a lot of features that streamline the entire dealer mechanic. Not only do they gain more customer slots and inventory space, but the mod also lets you manage them straight from the app! After all, why don’t they just send you their cash automatically? Right?
Mod #4. Easy Pickpocket
This mod does exactly what the name implies, and it’s great for those who don’t have lightning fast reflexes or if you just really don’t wanna sweat it. It significantly slows down the slider that you need to stop while pickpocketing, making success so much more attainable than before.
If you’re a bit of a cheapskate, this will allow you to just steal back your products after selling it to an NPC. Failure is still possible, of course, but at least the timings won’t be hilariously tight anymore. The speed can be configured, so you can adjust it if you think that it’s too slow.
Mod #5. Better Stacks
The Better Stacks mod drastically increases the limit of item stacks all across the board, whether in storage, your inventory, or even in work stations. In terms of immersion, it’s going to seem a bit silly at first, but this is a huge game changer once you start producing a lot of stuff.
Since the game doesn’t have any portable storage options yet, this will free up a lot of room in your already limited inventory. Gone are the days where a handful of jars and baggies eat up all of your space!
Mod #6. AutoLaundryPlus
Once you make it far enough into the game that you can launder money, you’re quickly going to realize how much of a hassle it’s gonna be to actually do it on a regular basis. With AutoLaundryPlus, you can keep the process going automatically as long as you can afford to do so. This is a massive time saver once you own multiple businesses.
And those are some of the best mods for Schedule 1 at the moment. There are some that help with employee management as well, but with how janky they currently are without mods, it’s kinda hard to recommend anything that can potentially mess them up even more.
