Wondering how people make millions or even billions of cash in Roblox’s Grow a Garden? It’s actually pretty easy, and I’m going to share what I did to reach hundreds of millions in just a couple of days without spending any Robux. I’ll start with something that you can do very early, then we’ll move to more mid/late game stuff.
Method #1 – Mass Mutated Tulips
First, you’ve probably already heard that orange tulips are a great moneymaker in the early game. What if I told you that you can make so much more by being patient with them?
Get yourself as many orange tulip seeds as you can get. Buy them whenever they show up on the store and plant them all in one corner of your garden. Do not harvest them yet!
What you’re going to do with these is just leave them planted until various weather events happen. Just expose the orange tulips to the elements so they’ll start stacking up mutations.
Eventually, you’re going to have an entire patch of orange tulips that are frozen, shocked (the best one), wet, or any mix of these effects. With how easy it is to hoard these seeds, you’ll have no trouble filling up multiple plots with the stuff.
Once you’re satisfied with the effects they’ve stacked up, now’s the time to harvest all of them. At worst, with just a bunch of wet and/or frozen ones, you’ll still make over a million in one go, which should help you get higher tier seeds. With decent luck, you can make over 10 million!
Method #2 – Shocked Bamboo Stack
This one requires a lot of patience too, but it’ll pay off massively once you get it all set up. First, you’ll need to get as many bamboo seeds as you can. Somewhere between the 50-100 range should be fine.
Next, before you plant them, wait until a lightning rod shows up in the gear shop. You’ll need at least one of them for this method. Free up some space in your garden so you can plop down the lightning rod, then plant all of your bamboo seeds around it.
Make sure that the bamboo seeds are planted as close as possible to one another, with the lightning rod right in the middle of them all. From here, it’s going to be another waiting game.
When a thunderstorm occurs, there’s a decent chance that it targets your entire stack of bamboos. On top of that, this effect stacks with other mutations too, which makes them even more valuable.
If you’re patient, you will make tens of millions once you harvest the entire stack. This is how I went from just around 3 million all the way up to 100+ million in one go!
Method #3 – Dragon Fruit Trees
Finally, for a more “consistent” moneymaker, dragon fruit trees are amazing for passive income. The seeds for them are pretty rare, but I’ve found daily seed packs to be a reliable way to get a bunch of them over time.
Save a specific part of your garden for dragon fruit trees, because having them all close to one another will help you with a bonus tip that I’ll provide at the end.
The good thing about these trees is that they grow extremely fast, especially when you use watering cans on them. On top of that, they also regrow fruits much faster than most trees in the game, such as coconuts, which are painfully slow and worth almost nothing to sell despite their higher rarity.
Normal dragon fruits sell for a few thousand each, but when mutated, they can go from hundreds of thousands to even over a million a piece, especially when they’re large.
BONUS TIP: If you collect the varying types of sprinklers except the master ones (too rare), you can plop down one of each kind within range of your dragon fruit trees. Do this when you have time to actively play the game and pick the fruits quickly until the sprinklers expire. These increase your chances of getting gold/rainbow fruits that are massive, and you’ll make a ton of money in no time.
Funnily enough, you don’t even need sprinklers with how fast these grow back. Just look at this giant golden dragon fruit that started growing while I was writing this after I had just harvested from the tree:
And those are all the tips you’ll ever need! Obviously, some of the event plants will be the best moneymakers, but not everybody is gonna get them. Just so you know, I made another 10 million cash while writing this whole thing, and most of that was from mutated tulips and dragon fruits.
